The photoluminescent sign can be seen from a great distance and, once charged with sunlight or artificial light, the luminance lasts for more than 12 hours in dark conditions. For the luminescence effect to be appreciated, no light must shine directly onto the piece.
The function of these photoluminescent eco-beacons, once the piece is charged, is to signal and mark unlit areas such as, for example: tourist, archaeological and astro-tourism routes; paths and greenways.
