Photoluminescent aggregate / stone

Turning any pavement into a surface that “comes to life” at nightfall is no longer an exclusive feature of premium design. With our dry aggregate / photoluminescent stone, you can create pathways, safety zones and decorative details that capture light during the day (solar or artificial), store it and emit it throughout the night, providing aesthetics, guidance and space differentiation without electricity consumption.

Scope

It is a photoluminescent aggregate/stone incorporable into:

  • In-situ seamless flooring executed by the dry-shake method on fresh concrete, or
  • Prefabricated piece in its outermost layer.

Ideal for gardens, spa, communal areas and designer decorations, thanks to its extraordinary capacity to capture, accumulate and emit light.

Our photoluminescent aggregate is formulated using enriched strontium aluminates, featuring very high luminous power.

Properties (performance and durability)

  • Activation: It activates with sunlight or artificial light.
  • Visibility It enables visibility in dark conditions or poorly lit areas.
  • Suitable for outdoor use: It is water and ultraviolet-resistant (suitable for outdoor use)
  • Battery life: Once charged, the luminescence lasts for over 12 hours in dark conditions.

Instructions for use

The photoluminescent aggregate/stone is applied to the surface of the element to be treated (continuous paving or surface layer of a precast element).

Recommended complement.

The usual allocation can be between 0.50 and 1.00 kg/m² (according to design, desired visual density and finish).

Storage conditions / Shelf life

There are no restrictions in this regard.

Handling and transport

Wash hands before breaks and at the end of work. Do not eat, drink or smoke during application.

The disposal of the product and its packaging must be carried out in accordance with current legislation and is the responsibility of the final holder.

It must be taken into account

To appreciate the effect properly, direct light must not fall on the treated surface during night-time viewing.
