Its beach walkways and street furniture made from recycled plastic are already in use in many Spanish towns and cities, such as San Pedro de Pinatar (Murcia), Lugo (Galicia), Altea (Alicante) and Tavernes de la Valldigna (Valencia). And its fixed bollards made from recycled plastic with reflective rings have reached as far as Costa Rica and Colombia (and will soon be available in other Latin American countries, such as Panama, the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico). \u00abThese are 100% environmentally friendly products that promote the optimisation of resources, the reduction in the consumption of raw materials and the reuse of waste, giving it a second life and thereby reducing the carbon footprint,\u00bb he points out\u00a0<strong>Jos\u00e9 Ernesto Gamboa<\/strong>, one of the partners of Abadecom, who cites as an example the beach walkways in San Pedro del Pinatar, where they have recovered and given a second useful life to 94 tonnes of plastic in their installation. And their catalogue of products made from recycled plastic just keeps growing: roads and signage, fencing, photoluminescent products\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And now they are set to take their commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) a step further with two R&amp;D&amp;I projects \u00abthrough which we can do our bit by providing sustainable and eco-friendly solutions to the challenges posed by the SDGs\u00bb, says Gamboa. Firstly, Aquanostra, a drinking water harvester capable of absorbing moisture from the atmosphere and producing drinking water using 100% eco-friendly and renewable energy. To achieve this, they are using nanotechnology that optimises space, harnesses energy and produces high-quality, ready-to-drink water. \u00abWe will be starting work on the prototype very soon, to carry out tests and obtain the necessary certifications to bring it into operation, because there are many areas of our planet that need systems like Aquanostra.\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The second R&amp;D&amp;I project is EcoModular, a sustainable modular housing system with the flexibility to adapt to any climate, using primarily recycled and recyclable materials, prepared for inclement weather, utilising renewable energy and capable of remaining off-grid regarding electricity, water and sanitation. \u00abThis modular system is designed to provide a large number of solutions for different architectural typologies, as well as being quick and easy to assemble\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Solutions that add value<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The search for solutions that add value is in Abadecom's DNA. \u00abAbadecom means \u2018trade supplier\u2019, whether it's products, machinery, logistics, raw materials... whatever need a customer has in these areas, we take care of providing a solution, with the aim of achieving the complete satisfaction of our customers.\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thus, what began as a company focused on foreign trade, managing the import and export process for Valencian SMEs, designing an internationalisation strategy and supervising its execution,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">is now a company that offers diverse business lines. \u00abFrom the very beginning it was clear to us that we wanted to contribute something to our clients, and to do this it is necessary to sit down, listen to their needs and see how we can collaborate, because an SME on its own finds everything much more difficult. Whether in terms of foreign trade, logistics or the circular economy. We ourselves are suppliers, but at the same time we are clients, because on some occasions we do not manufacture ourselves; we carry out the research and design of a prototype and look for someone who can manufacture it for us, meeting the highest quality standards.\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jos\u00e9 Ernesto Gamboa sets the example with his circular economy products. The companies they work with sometimes do not have the necessary machinery to manufacture their products. Abadecom places its knowledge of the international market at their disposal, they conduct a market study to see what best fits their clients' needs, present the proposals to them and, once approved, take care of all the procedures to import them and the subsequent delivery to the client's warehouse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Abadecom, as well as the circular economy, foreign trade and R&amp;D&amp;I projects, offers logistics management services (mainly related to foreign trade) and also provides the installation and assembly within the Valencian Community of the products they market. In addition, they plan to have a fleet of lorries in the coming years to provide logistics and distribution services nationwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This intense activity is not the result of chance, but comes naturally to Jos\u00e9 Ernesto Gamboa, who inherited his entrepreneurial spirit and his drive to launch projects that add value from his grandparents.
